Fuchsia Pink Nails

Let's forget about pastel colours, be it blue, mint green or yellow, or even coral.  Let's look at these beautiful fuchsia pink colours.  I think they are suitable for all year round.  They are cute and easy to wear, girly and fun!

I seem to have gone a bit crazy on these shades of fuchsia pink.  Here's a run down of what I have:

  • Nicole by OPI in A Like Haley Story
  • Barry M 272 Shocking Pink
  • Maybelline Color Show 183 Speeding Light
  • Ciate mini 011 Cupcake Queen

Nicole by OPI A Like Haley Story has the most sheer finish out of the four.  You can wear one coat to get a more sheer and natural effect but you can also apply more than one coats to pile the intensity of the colour.  It has the smallest sparkly gold particles in it.

Barry M Shocking Pink has the most opaque colour finish of all.  One coat is all you need to get the intensity of the colour right.

Maybelline Color Show Speeding Light is the coolest of all.  It has so many layers of colour, fuschia pink, a bit of purple and a soft metallic finish.  You can build it up or just wear one coat to get a fairly sheer finish.  I think I like this one the most.

Ciate Cupcake Queen is a colour between Barry M Shocking Pink and Maybelline Color Show Speeding Light.  It's got the opaqueness of Barry M's, it also has the metallic finish of Maybelline's.  However Ciate Cupcake Queen isn't as chip-resistant as the other three despite having applied both a base and top coat.

So...... what's your pick of fuchsia pink?
